Bluebells – My Sunday Photo –

Hello everyone. Usually when I chose my photos for my weekly photo post I try to go for things that are a bit different and unlikely to be photographed by other people. And it’s a running joke amoung bloggers that you’re not a ‘proper’ blogger until you have posted pictures of the bluebells in May.

However, I live in a gorgeous part of the country. It has a special beauty all year round, but during the month of May it is truly spectacular and it would be a crime not to photograph and share that.

These pics were all taken on my new P20 last Sunday when Mr A and myself went for a stroll in the woods. There were definitely no filters involved.

A woodland path, beech trees either side

A road at the bottom of the picture. Beyond is woodland with bright green foliage, bluebells on the ground

Closer shot of the bluebell wood. Bluebell carpet at the bottom of the picture

Have you got any bluebell woods near you?

Thank you, Mrs A Xx

We have been walking through woods full of bluebells in various different locations new to us. They are stunning and I love how they look so different depending on the light that it on them at various time of the day. #MySundayPhoto

We finally made it to the woods in Thursday but both the bluebells and wild garlic were fading – still lovely though.

Absolutely beautiful! I feel I must hang my head in blogging shame as I haven’t taken any bluebell pictures. My kids would all think I was mad if I dragged them out to look at bluebells!

Joke it may be, but if you simply have to appreciate such sights I think. Great pics. You are definitely a proper blogger! #mysundayphoto

Bluebells in May are a must, I featured ours last week. Another week and I fear they will all be over.

Definitely spectacular! The colours at the moment are amazing. Mind you, I’ve never taken a photo of bluebells or a lavender field or a pumpkin patch for the blog …
