Cat Toys For Under £10

Hello everyone. When Mr A and myself first moved into our little flat we thought we wouldn’t be able to have any pets. Mainly because it’s an upstairs flat with no clear access to a garden.

We decided the sensible thing would be to chat to our local vet. She told us that provided a cat has plenty of toys to play with for mental stimulation and exercise there is no reason why a cat can’t be a 100% indoor pet.

We have followed this advice and our girls regularly have new toys. They love their climbing posts but their favourite toys are the small catnip toys.

This week they received some new ones from viovets.co.uk.

Jolly Moggy Catnip Mice

The Jollie Moggy Catnip Mice is a very reasonable £1.89 for 2 mice. It’s very typical of the toys I buy for the girls. They hessian style material gives them something to get their claws in.

Jolly Moggy Patchwork Mice

A white toy mouse with pink flowers and a blue toy mice with a tree. Both with white in red spotty ears

The Jolly Moggy patchwork mice was a little more expensive at £2.80. It’s my favourite of the mice sets because they are such pretty colours. They have the addition of a bell on the tail which particularly attracted the girls attention.

Kong catnip turtle

The Kong catnip turtle is currently on offer at Viovet at just £2.49. It went down very well with both girls. It has a soft plush body and a velcro pouch on the underside of the turtle that where you can put fresh catnip to keep your cat interested in it. It comes with a pot of catnip.

Catnip heart attack toy

A plush red heart with the word Yeowww written on it in yellow

At £5.99 the Catnip heart attack cat toy is without doubt both cars favourite new toy. Ziva especially loves it and I am going to have to get another one as you can see from the following video she is a bit over protective of it.

Do you have cats that like playing with toys? Have you tried the Viovet range of cat toys?
