Crochet Monkey Pattern – Off The Hook

Hello readers. Todays pattern is for a crochet monkey.

When I was a child my brother and me had a toy monkey called Charlie Chimp. Charlie went on countless adventures with us. He still lives at my mum’s house, albeit somewhat worse for wear after an incident with a dog.

So when I was asked by a friend if I could make her a crochet monkey I jumped at the chance to create one just like Charlie.

Hi Dorothy. I think it is a suitable pattern for a beginner. It is working in rounds, so as long as you have mastered increasing (2sc) and decreasing (2tog) stitches you should be fine 😊 xx
