Mix It Up Linky – 9/07/18
Hello everyone and welcome to the second week of #mixitup. I hope you’re all getting to grips with Mix.
I’ve noticed several things that relate to this linky last week.
Firstly despite the date given for the end of StumbleUpon, the site is currently still up and fully running. Therefore until such time as it does close down I’ll be adding your posts to both platforms, giving you the best of both.
The second thing I’ve noticed this week is a couple of posts haven’t received views other than from myself. This linky is all about developing a supportive community, but that only works of everyone plays their part properly. Please make sure you read the post before yours, and if you link early on Monday come back later in the week to check out the later posts added, thank you.
What is #MixItUp all about?
As a reader Mix is a great place for finding something random to read when I have a spare 5 minutes (or at 3am when I can’t sleep!). It is also a fantastic place to share posts from your favourite bloggers.
Therefore this linky is geared towards people who share my love of Mix.
However as much as I love Mix I realise there are a lot of bloggers who haven’t yet got to grips with it, or simply don’t want to use another platform.
Because my aim is to build up a community of bloggers who support, love and welcome one another, I don’t want anyone to feel excuded. Therefore people who join in will have the option to either add posts to Mix or comment on them in the traditional linky way (or both if you wish). I will add all posts linked uo to Mix.
Submitting a post to Mix if you chose that option is really easy as long as you have an account. If you are using an android mobile device, you can find out how to add posts to StumbleUpon here.
The Mix Masters
Every week I will be giving a shout out to two posts from the previous week.
These posts will earn their writers the title of Mix Masters and they will be able to display this rather fantastic badge on their prize posts.
First mix master post of the week is from Next Best Thing To Mummy and her post Taking Parenting To The Next Level which gives four simple tips for parents.
My second mix master post this week comes from Lisa Pomerantz. Its Wednesday, I Wish… is a heartfelt post about how Lisa feels to be celebrating the 4th July as an American in Trumps America.
1- The linky opens at 10am (UK time) on Monday and closes at 8pm on Wednesday.
2- Please link up one post only (additional posts will be deleted).
3- The linky is open to all bloggers.
4- Please read and add to Mix or comment on the host post, the post before yours and at least two more posts of your choice.
5- Please add the linky badge to your post or sidebar.
6- Have fun reading and sharing the blogger love.
I will add every post submitted to my Mix account, and every week.
If you would like a RT please tag me, @HooksandDragons in your tweet.
Happy Mixing everyone.
