Steampunk Winter Festival- My Sunday Photo – 3/12/17

Hello everyone. You may have noticed I skipped #mysundayphoto last week because I was out gallivanting at the Chepstow steampunk winter festival with Mr A and many of my steampunk friends.

I didn’t take many pictures of the weekend’s activities mainly because I was too busy enjoying myself, but these few should give you a taster of what the weekend was like.

A bearded gentleman wearing a cloak and top hat holding a dragon puppet. Another dragon puppet in the foreground of the picture
There were dragons
On the right a bearded gentleman wearing a red shirt, black coat and black top hat. Middle a lady in black dress and blue corset, to the right bearded gentleman with red top hat, white waist coat and black long coat
Myself and two splendidly attired steampunk gentlemen
Sat behind a table one lady wearing a cowboy hat, ome man in a red millitary jacket with yellow squid hat and a lady in a black dress
Lunch break with Dr Porridge, AKA the Bishop of Squid and his gorgeous wife the Lady Museli.
A kilted man stood on a stage. A model tower bridge and a model humped bridge on the stage
Mr A doing a remarkable job driving his teapot racer round the obstacles
A toy car with a teapot and Barbie doll mounted on top next to a teatray with a teapot, cups and a toy octopus on it.
Our rather splendid Oc-Tea-Pus racer next to the Barbileicious racer

As you can see the weekend was splendidly wacky. I can’t wait till the next one.

Have you ever been to a steampunk festival? Have you tried teapot racing?

No, I’ve not been to a Steam Punk festival but I’m sure I could feel at home. First I was taken by the gorgeous dragons, then I giggled out loud at the Bishop of Squid comment and finally in- tea- rested in the teapot races (did that work?) You look absolutely fabulous as usual x
