Walking Home From The Pub

Hello readers. Just yesterday I got a brand new phone with a super cool camera. Being as this is a photo inspired post I really wanted to show off what the camera can do.

However in the last 24hrs I’ve had little opportunity to take any pictures. Therefore this post is all about my walk home from the pub this afternoon. To be fair I managed to snap some reasonably interesting photos in the 5 minutes it took to get home.

A brown bird sat on top of a hedge
This little bird was totally unbothered by us walking so close to it.
A model skeleton in a set of stocks. A hedge in the background
I’ve no idea what this remnant of Halloween is doing in someones front garden, but it is cool
A lamb stood in a grass field
This wasn’t the youngest lamb we saw on the way home, but it was the only one who stood still long enough for a photo
A tortoiseshell cat sat on a concrete gatepost
I don’t think she wanted her picture taken
A group of daffodils. The edge of the picture is blurred
Trying out the fancy blurred edge feature

I think you will agree it was an interesting walk home.

Have you seen any unusual sights around your home recently?

Amazing photos, I used to have a tortoise shell cat just like the one in your photo, sadly passed many years ago #pointshoot@_karendennis

I love the skeleton! How cute is the little lamb, and how nice of him to pose for you. You certainly did see a lot on your walk home, I do feel that people walk around with their eyes closed sometimes. x

The cat is beautiful with that face of almost two halves and aren’t all the little lambs so cute right now? I work next to a farm and we get to see them springing about all day long!

She is a very beautiful example of a tortie. I love the ones who have big clear patches of ginger and black

Hi Tracey, there’s a lot to see on the short walk home from the pub. The animals seem to be giving you a look of caution. That skeleton is a classic, not as cute as a garden gnome though.
